After graduating, Carole consciously pivoted away from her long-standing dream of a career as a lawyer.
She spent the first 10 years of her career leading learning and development and human resource activities in law firms.
In 2007, she moved into the built environment sector, and took on a series of progressively more senior leadership roles across the UK, Asia and Australia.
She retired from her corporate career in 2026, at the end of a four year term as Managing Partner of a global engineering consultancy.
Carole has been privileged to work with incredible coaches across her business and athletic endeavours, and knows first-hand the game-changing power of great coaching.

Whilst working across the UK and Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, Carole competed internationally in powerlifting — representing her country at multiple Commonwealth and World Championship events, securing medals and breaking records.
All whilst privately struggling with confidence, and figuring out what it actually costs to perform at that level and keep going.
Powerlifting builds resilience and gives you the confidence to know you can do difficult things.
Ambition is worth it
Infrasound exists because of what she learned doing all of this. That ambition is worth it, but only if the choices behind it are genuinely yours.
Her purpose is to help ambitious women choose their next chapter deliberately, build the confidence to pursue it, and lead on their own terms.
